The MFK-02 GEN 2 from Hardcore Hardware Australia, is a mid-sized utility field knife offering optimum balance between weight, strength and cutting power.
Constructed from a solid slab of 6mm (0.23") thick, Austrian K110 (D2) tool steel, the MFK-02 GEN 2 is a truly multifunction, extreme hard use, fixed blade knife.
The modified tanto point design is extremely strong and ideally suited for piecing and prying. Nonslip, ergonomic G10 handle scales offer comfortable yet positive grip, these are secured with steel Torx screw fittings.
Additional features include a fully chamfered tang and handguard, partial blade serrations, an extended glass break, hammer pommel with jimping, and lanyard point. Added protection from corrosion is offered in the form of a durable Teflon coating.
The MFK-02 GEN 2 Kydex ambidextrous sheath comes fitted with a Tek-Lok style belt mount. This can be customized in vertical or horizontal positions. A friction lock system fastens the tool securely in its sheath.
